Description
Purples, along with reds and yellows can be so very hard to capture. I tried a variety of settings and found that a reduction in the exposure and mininal flash worked the best. The interesting thing about this "Blue Boy" is that in the sunlight the red undertones became more pronounced. It's always a challenge to try to capture the perfect hue!
