A delicate pink rhododendron called r. Schlippenbachii. This was found on the southwest side of Homestead Park, just beyond the yellow bed.

Broadly rotate-funnel shaped, pale to deep pink, rarely white. Inflorescence 3-6 flowered.
Fragrant: Yes slightly
